إصابة فتى فلسطيني وهو يرعى الماشية بالقرب من السياج بين غزة وإسرائيل بأعيرة نارية في ظهره تؤدي لإصابته بإعاقة دائمة؛ في تقريرمكتب تنسيق الشؤون الإنسانية (أوتشا) الأسبوعي لحماية المدنيين 20-26 أيار/مايو 2014

تهجير ما يزيد عن 100 شخص بسبب عمليات الهدم أو إفساح المجال أمام إجراء تدريبات عسكرية في غور الأردن

أصيب ما مجموعه 22 فلسطينيا في سلسلة من الحوادث في الضفة الغربية وذلك مقارنة بإصابة 64 شخصا الأسبوع الماضي ؛ ووقع نصف إصابات هذا الأسبوع خلال اشتباكات اندلعت في سياق عمليات تفتيش واعتقال. ووقعت إحدى هذه العمليات في حي العيسوية في القدس الشرقية، وأصيب ثلاثة فلسطينيين آخرين في اشتباكات مماثلة خلال عمليات تفتيش واعتقال في دير نظام (رام الله) وصيدا (طولكرم) ومخيم بلاطة للاجئين (نابلس). ونفذت القوات الإسرائيلية إجمالا هذا الأسبوع ما لا يقل عن 70 عملية تفتيش واعتقال في أنحاء الضفة الغربية أعتقل خلالها ما يقرب من 100 فلسطيني.

وفي القدس الشرقية أيضا اشتبك هذا الأسبوع فلسطينيون مع القوات الإسرائيلية التي كانت تحرس عمالا ينفذون أعمال ترميم للجدار بالقرب من حي كفر عقب، مما أسفر عن إصابة خمسة فلسطينيين من بينهم طفلان، حيث أصيب واحد (1) منهم بأعيرة حية وثمانية (8) بأعيرة معدنية مغلفة بالمطاط. وبالرغم من أنّ حي كفر عقب يقع داخل الحدود الإسرائيلية لبلدية القدس إلا أن الجدار يفصله عن باقي المدينة مما يضطر سكانه إلى عبور معبر قلندية للوصول إلى الخدمات وأماكن العمل، ومما يؤدي إلى وقف فعلي في تقديم الخدمات البلدية إلى الحي

وفي هذا الأسبوع أيضا صرح المتحدث بلسان مكتب المفوضية السامية لحقوق الإنسان أنّه وفقا للنتائج الأولية لتحقيق أجرته المفوضية فإنّ مقتل الفتيين الفلسطينيين بالقرب من القدس على يد القوات الإسرائيلية الأسبوع الماضي "ربما يعتبر إعداما بدون محاكمة بموجب قانون حقوق الإنسان، وقتل عمد بموجب القانون الإنساني الدولي". ورحب المتحدث بفتح الشرطة العسكرية الإسرائيلية تحقيقا في الحادث ودعى أنّ يكون هذا التحقيق فوريا وشاملا وفاعلا ومستقلا وغير متحيّز وشفاف. وبدأت الشرطة العسكرية منذ نيسان/أبريل 2011 بفتح تحقيقات تلقائية في معظم حوادث قتل المدنيين الفلسطينيين التي ترتكبها القوات الإسرائيلية في الضفة الغربية. ولم تسفر هذه التحقيقات حتى الآن سوى عن حالة إدانة واحدة.

سُجّل هذا الاسبوع خمسة حوادث متصلة بإسرائيليين أو مستوطنين إسرائيليين أسفرت عن إصابات في صفوف الفلسطينيين أو إلحاق أضرار بممتلكاتهم

أبلغ في 24 أيار/مايو أنّ مستوطنا كان يقود سيارته في شارع رقم 60 في الخليل فتح نيران سلاحه وأطلق الرصاص الحي باتجاه مخيم العروب في الخليل مما أدى إلى إصابة فلسطيني. وفي حادث آخر وقع في القدس الغربية في 20 أيار/مايو اعتدت مجموعة من اليهود المتدينين المتزمتين على عامل من القدس الشرقية بالضرب مما أدى إلى إصابته، ووصلت الشرطة الإسرائيلية في أعقاب ذلك إلى الموقع واعتقلت بعض المعتدين.

وفي حادثين أديا إلى إلحاق أضرار بممتلكات الفلسطينيين وقعا في 20 و22 أيار/مايو أشعل المستوطنون الإسرائيليون النار في 22 شجرة بالقرب من مستوطنة ريفافا (سلفيت) و20 كيسا من محاصيل القمح بالقرب من البؤرة الاستيطانية ميتسبيه يائير (الخليل). وأطلق مستوطنون من البؤرة الاستيطانية سدي بوعاز في بيت لحم قطعان ماشيتهم في أرض يمتلكها سكان قرية الخضر مما أدى إلى إلحاق أضرار بـ100 كرمة عنب وشجرة لوز.

ورشق فلسطينيون الحجارة في خمسة حوادث وقعت هذا الأسبوع باتجاه سيارات إسرائيلية منها حافلات كانت مسافرة في شوارع الضفة الغربية في محافظتي الخليل وبيت لحم. وأدت أربعة من هذه الحوادث إلى إلحاق أضرار بالسيارات وواحدة إلى إصابة واحدة.

هدمت السلطات الإسرائيلية هذا الأسبوع 40 مبنى فلسطينيا في أنحاء مختلفة من المنطقة (ج) في الضفة الغربية بسبب عدم حصولها على تراخيص بناء إسرائيلية مما أدى إلى تهجير 70 شخصا من بينهم 38 طفلا وتضرر 23 آخرين.

وهدمت معظم المباني (36) في منطقة أبو العجاج البدوية في بلدة الجفتلك (محافظة أريحا) في غور الأردن. وتضمنت المباني التي هُدمت عشر خيام سكنية و19 حظيرة للماشية، ووحدة تخزين للأعلاف وفرن طابون، ومطبخا وسياجا. وأدت عمليات الهدم إلى تهجير 10 عائلات وتضرر ثلاث عائلات آخرى. بالإضافة إلى ذلك أدت عمليات الهدم إلى بقاء ما يقرب من 4,000 رأس من الخراف و15 عجلا بدون مأوى.

ويعيش في هذا التجمّع ما يقرب من 1,580 شخصا وهو أحد أربع تجمعات سكنية تقع في بلدة الجفتلك (5,600 شخص تقريبا)، وهو أكبر تجمّع سكني في منطقة غور الأردن. وتعدّ بلدة الجفتلك مركز الخدمات للتجمعات المجاورة وهي البلدة الوحيدة التي أعدّ لها مخطط هيكلي صادقت عليه السلطات الإسرائيلية في عام 2005. بالرغم من ذلك لا يشمل هذا المخطط سوى 55 بالمائة من السكان مما يعرض السكان الآخرين ومن بينهم الذين هُدمت منازلهم اليوم لمزيد من التهجير وفرض قيود صارمة تحد من تطوير شبكات المياه والكهرباء والصرف الصحي. وتعدّ هذه المرة الخامسة التي يتضرر فيها سكان الجفتلك من عمليات الهدم منذ مطلع العام، مما أدى إلى هدم 50 مبنى وتهجير 95 شخصا من بينهم 53 طفلا، بعضهم هُجّر أكثر من مرة واحدة.

وخلال هذا الأسبوع أيضا قامت الإدارة المدنية الإسرائيلية بتفكيك ومصادرة خيمتين سكنيتين قدمتهما منظمة إنسانية لتجمّع الخان الأحمر البدوي استجابة لعملية الهدم التي نفذت الأسبوع الماضي. أما عمليتا الهدم الأخريين فتضمنتا مستودعا تبلغ مساحته 300 متر مربع ومبنى ملحق بورشة نجارة في تجمّع الخلايلة في المنطقة (ج) في محافظة القدس ووقعت عمليتا الهدم بتاريخ 20 أيار/مايو.

وفي غور الأردن أيضا، تمّ تهجير ثماني عائلات مؤلفة من 62 شخصا من بينهم 27 طفلا، في ساعات الصباح الباكرة من يوم 26 أيار/مايو، بصورة مؤقتة من منازلهم في تجمّع حمصة البقيعة لعدة ساعات لإفساح المجال أمام إجراء تدريب عسكري للجيش الإسرائيلي. ويقع التجمّع في منطقة مغلقة مخصصة للتدريبات العسكرية أو "منطقة إطلاق نار". وتبلغ مساحة مثل هذه المناطق 18 بالمائة من مساحة الضفة الغربية ويقع فيها 38 تجمعا بدويا صغيرا يعيش فيها ما يقرب من 6,200 شخص. ويقع 50 تجمّعا آخر (12,200 شخص) بجوار هذه المناطق التي يحتاجون إلى الوصول إليها لاعتمادهم عليها في كسب العيش. ومنذ مطلع عام 2012 نفذت القوات الإسرائيلية 67 تدريبا عسكريا أدى إلى تهجير مؤقت للسكان، معظمها في غور الأردن. وكان العديد من الأسر المتضررة قد هُجرت مرات عديدة.

وأفاد تقرير صدر عن وسائل إعلام إسرائيلية أنّ ضابطا كبيرا في الجيش الإسرائيلي صرح مؤخرا أنّ هذه التدريبات العسكرية تلعب دورا في إخراج الفلسطينيين من مناطق إطلاق النار.

وفي قطاع غزة؛ وبالرغم من الهدوء النسبي ، أصيب خمسة مدنيين فلسينيين بأعيرة أطلقتها القوات الإسرائيلية في المنطقة المقيد الوصول إليها.

وأطلق هذا الأسبوع صاروخ على يد المجموعات الفلسطينية المسلحة سقط في منطقة خالية ولم يسفر عن وقوع إصابات أو أضرار.

وأصيب في الحوادث التي وقعت في المناطق المقيد الوصول إليها فتى يبلغ من العمر 16 عاما كان يجمع العشب الجاف لماشيته في منطقة تبعد عن السياج 400 متر، حيث أصيب بأعيرة في ظهره أدت إلى إصابته بإعاقة دائمة. وأصيب كذلك عامل كان يجمع الخردة المعدنية في منطقة تبعد عن السياج ما يقرب من 100 متر من السياج في 25 أيار/مايو، وأصيب رجل كان يصطاد السمك بالقرب من الشاطئ في 26 أيار/مايو، وأصيب رجل كان متواجداً شرق بيت لاهيا في منطقة تبعد عن السياج مسافة 300 متر في 23 أيار/مايو. 

وأصيب مزارع آخر في 21 أيار/مايو خلال عملية تجريف للأراضي نفذتها القوات الإسرائيلية داخل قطاع غزة أثناء عمله في أرضه الواقعة في منطقة تبعد عن السياج 400 متر. ولاحقا أطلقت مجموعة فلسطينية مسلحة قذائف هاون باتجاه القوات التي ردت بإطلاق النار قبل الانسحاب خارج المنطقة، ولم يبلغ عن وقوع إصابات.

بالإضافة إلى ذلك، أطلقت القوات البحرية الإسرائيلية النار التحذيرية في ما لا يقل عن خمسة حوادث، باتجاه قوارب صيد فلسطينية كانت تقترب أو تجاوزت حدود الأميال الستة المفروضة على وصول الفلسطينيين إلى مناطق في البحر. وأبلغ أنّ القوات الإسرائيلية اعتقلت صيادي أسماك وصادرت قاربهما ودمرت معدات صيدهما في حادث وقع في 20 أيار/مايو.

أعادت السلطات المصرية إغلاق معبر رفح في 21 أيار/مايو بعد فتحه لمدة ثلاثة أيام للسماح للحجاج بالعبور في الاتجاهين. وتفيد سلطة المعابر والحدود في غزة أنّ ما يزيد عن 10,000 شخص مسجلون للعبور إلى مصر معظمهم من الحالات الطبية والطلاب وحملة تأشيرات السفر لدول اجنبية. 

وفي 22 أيار/مايو أصدرت السلطات الإسرائيلية ما يقرب من 600 تصريح زيارة لسكان غزة المسيحيين، جميعهم تزيد أعمارهم عن 35 عاما، وسمحت لهم بمغادرة غزة للسفر إلى بيت لحم بمناسبة زيارة البابا إلى المدينة. ولم يعبر سوى نصف هذا العدد فعليا.

وأشار تقرير أصدرته منظمة الصحة العالمية هذا الأسبوع إلى أنّه خلال نيسان/أبريل 2014 لم يتمكن سوى سبعة مرضى من السفر من غزة إلى مصر عبر معبر رفح لتلقي العلاج الطبي مقارنة بما يزيد عن 4,400 في نيسان/أبريل 2013.

ومنذ تموز/يوليو 2013 لا تفتح السلطات المصرية المعبر سوى بصورة متقطعة ولحالات استثنائية مما تسبب في انخفاض كبير في عدد المسافرين الذين يعبرون في الاتجاهين.

فى تقرير نشرته صحيفة نيويورك تايمز أمس بعنوان "مراقبون دوليون يعتبرون الانتخابات الرئاسية المصرية دون المعايير الدولية"، كتب مراسلها فى القاهرة ديفيد كريكبارتيك أن اثنين من فرق متابعة الانتخابات قالا إن "الانتخابات كانت دون المعايير الدولية للديمقراطية".

ونقل عن رئيس منظمة الديمقراطية الدولية اريك باجورنلود قوله إن "البيئة السياسية القمعية فى مصر تجعل بحق من المستحيل وجود انتخابات رئاسية ديمقراطية".

ومن ناحية أخرى نقلت نيويورك تايمز عن رئيس فريق المتابعين الأوروبيين قوله إن الانتخابات المصرية لا ترقى لمبادئ الدستور المصرى نفسه.

ومن جهة اخرى قالت مراسلة صحيفة يو اس ايه توداى سارة لينش نقلا عن زميل معهد بروكينجيز أن "مصر تتجه لتكون أقل استقرارا وليس أكثر استقرارا.. فهناك كم كبير من السكان دفعوا خارج العملية السياسية، لعدم وجود فرصة للاندماج".

وتابعت لينش نقلا عن كبيرة محللى مؤسسة اى اتش اس فى العاصمة البريطانية لندن انا بويد، قولها إن "الإقبال المتواضع من شأنه أن يضعف سلطة السيسى، عند اتخاذه قرارات مهمة فى قضايا مثل الدعم".

ومن ناحيتها وصفت صحيفة كريستيان ساينس مونتر قرارات مثل "أجازة ثانى أيام التصويت ومد يوم ثالث" بأنها "اجراءات ترهيب وتدابير متطرفة لزيادة الإقبال على التصويت"، وذلك فى تقريرها المنشور أمس بعنوان "انتخابات غير ديمقراطية".

واعتبرت الصحيفة أن التهديد بفرض غرامة على من لم يذهب للتصويت(500 جنيه) نوع من الترهيب، فيما كان القرار بالسفر مجانا بالسكك الحديدية إغراءا لزيادة الإقبال فى اليوم الثالث.

I wanted to congratulate all the competition winners from the recent Z97 OC comp on OCAU forum (Overclockers Australia). GIGABYTE sponsored the competition with all top 3 prizes being Z97X-SOC Force and a participation prize (Z87X-OC).

This competition was based on 3 tests:

• Stage 1 Catzilla - 576P - CCC (crap card challenge) GT610 test
• Stage 2 Superpi 8M - 4GHz Cap 
• Stage 3 3dmark01 - CCC (crap card challenge) GT610

The competition was not that straight forward. Contestants had to learn how to solder modifications on a really cheap graphics card (Nvidia GT610) and see if they can extract more MHz out of the GPU via mods and various cooling techniques. The modified card could be used on two different stages and it proved to be more than a handful. In the end, Robbo2 was the overall winner with the first place in Catzilla, while Newlife managed to snag the 3DMark01 round and bullants took the 8M superpi but has not contested the rest of the stages. GT610 GPUs operate at 810Mhz stock core and 600MHz memory. There guys were able to run them at 1400MHz core and over 900MHz memory for good measure!

New era of sports tournaments is upon us and it’s growing exponentially. I know this sounds unbelievable but I can see how Olympics will have a gaming tournament element in not too distant a future.

Alright, I’ve said it. E-Sport will one day be just as big and popular as just about any other sport we currently have at Olympics. I can see the 40+ year old’s cringing now and blurting out one liners, “when I was a kid, we used to…”. Those days are long gone! I was in the transitional phase so I should know a thing or two. My generation is the first of its kind to grow up with gaming platforms such as Spectrum, Commodore64, Amiga, Atari, PCs and many others. I am showing my age here but it’s worth reminiscing about those all-nighters me and my friends put in playing all sorts of games. Competing in the virtual world and getting a taste for something new, something exciting that no one has experienced in our history.

Physical sports have been around for a very long time and technology has opened our minds to new possibilities, new ways to compete and have new lifestyles. Attitudes are changing from generation to generation as most of us from the first “gamer” generation have grown up now and have our own kids. Our kids now have taken gaming to a whole new level and it is literally becoming a professional sport with pro teams, team managers, sponsors, huge prize pools and big audiences. Gamers are becoming celebrities in their own right and they are the role models to a lot of kids. The technology at the same time is also much more accessible from simple iPods and Android phones to consoles and PCs. Some of the “old” gamers are now team managers or sponsors or supporting fathers and mothers of these crazy kids. Before long we’ll be the grandparents and will tune in to watch some some Korean dude slaying everyone in Dota 5 LOL

Our friends from MEKA.Tt eSPORTS page put up a stunning graph showing where the tournament prize money has sky rocketed to currently and it is only going to get bigger! It’s pretty clear that Dota2 and League of Legends are the games predominantly driving this push and what they both have in common is they are easily accessible, inexpensive and can be played on very basic hardware due to such strong technological advances of recent time.

This is not a new idea that I am discussing here but it is one that has opened up to me in the last couple of years as a real possibility for someone who is in the industry and is sponsoring professional gaming teams and can see such a large amount of young generations investing serious amounts of time into this hobby. I ended up coming across a petition website today which has close to 100K signatures for gaming to becoming part of Olympics. I guess there are another 100K likeminded individuals out there who share my views and I didn’t even sign that petition! Phew!

There are still a lot of hurdles that present themselves for future gamers. One is internet infrastructure which is a very important aspect for some types of games. I remember speaking to the best Counter Strike and other FPS (First Person Shooter) gamers in Australia and getting told that ping times (essentially internet/game response times) affect a lot how well you can play online against other people. It was also evident that some of the best players were in healthy internet infrastructure countries such as USA, Northen Europe (Sweden, Finland, etc) or Korea. This is one area which will drastically improve over the next decade as many countries are now investing in this type of infrastructure. Places such as USA (Google fiber), UK, Germany, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, China, Indonesia, etc, all have plans in near future to improve in this area.

TV coverage is another major change that will probably evolve over time. Every time I travel to Taiwan for work, I am surprised to see video gaming channels dedicated to competitive gaming because Australia is still so far behind the times when it comes to that. You would expect otherwise as we certainly don’t lack gamers here. It’s just not reached that level yet I think. It will and that will be the major break through.

The real question is will gaming be included in Olympics by 2024 or before that, enjoy your weekend guys and happy fragging!

Sin0822 does a lot of forum write ups from OC guides to indepth looks at board spec when new gen stuff comes out. There are always interesting tidbits in there to have a look at. In this particular instance, sin0822 has done a full out overclocking guide with the new Gigabyte Z97X-SOC Force motherboard and also compares some differences to the old Z87X-OC. There is also a video covering overclocking and some main features.

I often see PC shops have a good crack at making cool custom made PCs but this one from Scorptec in Australia is seriously the best looking PC I’ve seen in a long time. How awesome does this green beast look? Good to see a nice G1 Sniper Z87 and GIGABYTE GTX780 GHz edition in the spec, very nice guys!

Hardware.info guys from UK put up an interesting article in which they examine some of the most bizarre motherboards that have ever reached their lab. Some are amazing engineering feats for the time and others are just wild. I am a bit of a veteran and remember all of these boards and must say some of them really bring back the nostalgia of the good old days.

GIGABYTE features with some wacky cooling during the 975 chipset days as well as the blue board that started it all for us (journey away from the dull brown boards).

Let’s also not forget the ever so cool Gigabyte GA-8N-SLI Royal (2005): with upgradable power delivery module. Here is what the magazine thought about that:

A motherboard with expandable CPU power supply. In 2005, there was such a thing, in the form of Gigabyte the Nvidia nForce 4 SLI Intel Edition-based GA-8N-SLI Royal. It was one of the first SLI motherboards for Intel processors. Behind the CPU socket there's a connector where you can an expansion card with extra phases for the CPU power supply. The DPS module (Dual Power System) was supposed to improve overclocking results. This idea never really gained traction, except we just saw ASUS' brand-new Maximus VI Impact Mini-ITX board with the exact same thing due to a lack of space. It also has a vertical CPB with the CPU power supply.

A look ahead at Computex 2014
Computex is one of the largest technology trade shows in the world and happens to be Dennis's summertime destination.  His trips to Computex started over 10 years ago and has been a great make new contacts and witness firsthand what new bits of computer hardware will be available for the Christmas shopping season.  Over the years the Computex show has grown quite a bit, not only in size but with elaborate booths and cool overclocking demonstrations.

This year Dennis is looking forward to the GSKill OC World Cup which will likely replace the normal overclocking demonstrations at the GSKill booth.  During the week there will likely be two on two overclocking competitions with the finals being held on the Friday of the show.  An open qualifier was hosted on HWBot with the top 6 getting an open invite to the semi-finals and finals. 

Back in 2009 Dennis hosted a small get together in Taiwan to celebrate the 10 year anniversary of NInjalane.com and as luck would have it, HWBOT is celebrating their 10 year anniversary this year after Computex  By the looks of it they are planning a fun filled weekend of overclocking and general mayhem.
